Peer Review
I decided to add this because I find that it is helpful evidence to show just how much my classmates helped me improve when it comes to writing overall, and how I perhaps, helped them myself as well:

Subject: Lab Report Feedback
My Feedback –
Well, in my feedback, I pretty much focused on refining several aspects of my classmate’s papers to enhance their overall quality. To be more specific, I suggested the need for smoother transitions between paragraphs to improve coherence, as well as that they connect topics more seamlessly and avoid abrupt shifts and choppy flow within their paper. Additionally, I pointed out areas where they could provide more detailed explanations and use better or more evidence to back their claims up, especially regarding the similarities between the lab report and the sample. I also advised on the gradual introduction of concepts like the abstract to prevent overwhelming the reader and also stressed the importance of strong topic sentences in each paragraph for clarity, as well as simple fixes of grammar and proper APA format. Lastly, I recommended adding specific details, such as background information on the lab report, to enhance the reader’s understanding of the work and increase the reputation of the writer. Overall, my feedback aimed to help enhance clarity, coherence, and engagement in my classmate’s writing, and I did a fine job if I say so myself.
Feedback Given –
As for feedback given, it was quiet on the similar side of things. I ended up receiving a note of my formatting, making sure that I followed the given outline and structure of the essay. They also mentioned that I seemed to lack strong topic sentences and overall flow was on the stiff side. Also, common mistakes were not including a cover page which I fixed in the final draft, not quoting the report properly, and lack of a works cited page. Overall, the feedback ended up helping in providing a more academic and formal paper which looks professional and sounds much better.”
